My Coaching Philosophy
For me, coaching is about helping people to realise their dreams and achieve the results they want through personal development and empowerment. It is a process of facilitation that enables the client to take responsibility, gain new insights and perspectives and get from where they are now to where they want to be, whether in life or in the workplace.
With influences from psychology, neuroscience, Neuro Linguistic Programming, quantum physics and Buddhist psychology; my approach to coaching is non-directive; meaning that the client – you – has control and ownership over the direction and content of the coaching session. In the coaching relationship, the coach is an expert in process and structure, the client is the expert in content .
The coaching I provide is creative, challenging, solution-focused, and results-oriented.
I firmly believe that each of us has the capacity and resources to achieve and be more than we settle for. I also have great respect for individual people’s beliefs, values and cultural influences; I am aware that our differences make us unique and as such must be respected and truly appreciated.
I believe effective personal development skills are essential life tools for everyone at all levels. We cannot ignore the impact and importance of our behaviour and interactive skills, especially within organisations; they affect performance, well-being and health both at home and in the workplace.
It is with great passion that I aim to make a difference by empowering people.
I strive to help people to:
-
Become more aware of and awake to the opportunities we can create for ourselves…
-
Take immediate and massive action to achieve the extraordinary…
- Promote peace and an attitude of gratitude towards everyone and everything in our lives.
Few of us actually prioritise or plan personal or business growth in the same way we do other parts of our life .
Many of us are not aware of our 'internal state' and the same is true for organisations; we tread the same path, using past experience to guide us into the future, rarely venturing outside our comfort zone. This is safe and produces consistent results, however it is also self-limiting. We use many excuses and behavioural strategies to stay within this ‘safe’ comfort zone, but most commonly fear of failure or ridicule are the actual reasons for sticking to the same path.
The principles of personal and organisational growth include learning from the past, seeking new experiences, taking calculated risks and developing awareness and day-to-day strategies that enable us and our businesses to grow. I believe these principles should be fundamental to the way we live our lives and conduct business.
Life is a dynamic interplay of movement, growth and change; I believe we should embrace this thought and seek our true nature and personal direction in order to fully appreciate our life. I will endeavour to help you realise your true potential.
